___ - A new music sharing platform from Sydney Australia, is currently trending

___ - A new music sharing platform from Sydney Australia, is currently trending with nearly 100K+ registered users since their beta version went public just a few days ago.

Just for context, Spotify took a little over 2 whole years to reach 1M users. Soundcloud surprisingly did it in a little less, but still over a year.

Not shitting on Soundcloud or Spotify or anything like that, but at this rate of growth, ___ will likely reach 1M users in beta before they even launch.

This can be attributed to the fact that trends spread quickly today, especially on platforms like TikTok and Reddit, where content that gets good engagement is rewarded, making follower count less important.

Mark my words. This is going to be FUCKING HUGE in 2025.

When Will They Launch?

Right now their platform has a few bugs and unreleased features. So I don't think they will launch anytime soon. As a web developer myself, I would estimate that they'd take at least another year to get these bugs sorted out before they can even consider the mobile app.

Edit - According to their website, it seems like we can expect their mobile app to come out in Early 2025.

I don't know how they're going to do it so early, but i guess we'll see.

How To Make The Most Of This

What i suggest is, if you're a small artist, you need to build your Prescence on the platform NOW before the bigger players catch onto it.

Here's how:

  1. Start uploading your music to the platform.
  2. Important - The platform let's you contribute songs to other people's playlists. So you need to create your own collaborative playlists and make them go viral. That way you have full control over them. Make creative playlists with your own songs + other songs and share the playlist to your tiktok and instagram (see the example below).
  3. Once you get enough likes on your playlist, you can get featured on their trending page, which in turn, will blow up your music even more.

Screenshots above show large music channels and artists already trying to get a slice of the cake while they can.
